Workforce 7-inch Tile Wet Saw
As I’ve previously mentioned, I actually went to Home Depot before I went to Lowe’s to look at Tile Saws. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to ask further about where the wet saws were. If you go to the front of the store, there is a saw section but it’s only for miter saws and table saws.
I did happen to catch a sale on the Husky wet tile saw at the end of one of the isles by the garden section though. The Husky was marked down from $88 to $79. It impressively (relative to the price) cuts ceramic tile, porcelain tile, marble, slate, and stone. The box also states it has an adjustable rip guide and a miter guide for fast cuts. Specifically, the cutting table is adjustable to make 15, 30, and 45 degree miter cuts. The cutting table is steel. Now, they didn’t have a display but I did take a few pictures of the box to give you a better idea of what you would get.

Now with this cutter, you’re going to get a great bang for your buck. The price is comparable to renting a tile saw and it makes great cuts for a do it yourself project. It’s going to give you a good cut for almost all angles and the straight cuts go down easily. The only small drawbacks are the scale isn’t easy to read and the slide to cut angle cuts sticks somewhat, but of course if you’re only at one project it won’t be a big deal. The 10% off sale right now makes it an even better buy for Christmas.

Right below the display was a Tile Tool Value Kit in a bucket. I didn’t see everything inside the bucket but if you’re just starting your first project, you may want to think about this as it’s going to come with your essentials that you may otherwise forget about like a sponge or smoother. The Tile Bucket Kit was $18.97 and probably a small discount over buying each item individually. If you’re a pro, then obviously you’re going to have most of this stuff or be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.
